We are on a temporary hold for new quotes and orders to catch up with existing work. This should end around June 20. Watch this space!
Please ship to our PO Box via US Post Office whenever possible, and avoid UPS entirely — their new policy is causing delivery complications.

A Capacity Update from The Dream Shop

After months of running at full capacity, I'm temporarily pausing new order intake for customizations and restorations effective May 5, for approximately six weeks. Authentications needed on a reasonable deadline will still be considered.

This isn't a decision I make lightly. The work on the shelves — which are full — deserves my full attention, and customers already in the queue deserve the turnaround times I promised them. The only way to honor that is to stop adding to the pile for a while.

  • If you have work already in the shop — nothing changes. Your order is moving forward.
  • If you were planning to send something in — I'll be reopening to new orders around June 16. (If I told you in the past couple of days to send your order in, you may still do so.)

Drop me an email at Bill@TheDream.shop and I'll put you on the list to be notified when intake reopens.

Thank you for your patience and your trust. I'll see you in June.

Important Shipping Notice — Please Read Before Sending Us Anything

Do not ship to us via UPS.

UPS has changed their delivery policy in our area: if no one is available to sign for a package, they no longer attempt redelivery the next day. Instead, they drop it at a CVS drugstore five miles from our location — and consider it delivered. That means delays, extra trips, and unnecessary headaches for your order. Any order requiring us to retrieve a package from an off-site location will incur a surcharge and should expect processing delays.

We strongly recommend USPS Priority Mail — both for sending to us and for your return shipment.

UPS and FedEx have not only raised their rates, they're now tacking on a $14.95 pickup surcharge just to collect packages from us — on top of your regular shipping costs. We absorb what we can, but that fee is too significant to ignore on every order.

The bottom line: USPS Priority Mail is reliable, reasonably priced, and comes without surprise fees. If you prefer FedEx for your return shipment, we'll make it work — but the $14.95 pickup surcharge will be added to your order.
